The reason that i decided to use the story of dorm life because i want to emphasize the fact that i am independent. The life of dorm life and what i learned from it changed me as a whole. The independent part of going outside and live by myself was pretty hard to write. I can't think about a specific incident that happened that enlightened me. The whole thing was a process, not a realization that just happened. Well, maybe a realization wheni was writing about this expierence, but it wouldn't make this expierence sounds or look significant. To be honest, i had trouble in shortening the expierence. There's the before, the after, the middle of what happened. Everything had to happen over a period of time to all become one. By the way, i just realize how hard this journal woulb be, trying to expand this random idea into 200 words is quite compicated and challenging i gotta say. What i learned from this essay is probably the structure of the whole thing. I mean, with the college app, you don't follow the 5 paragraph, and it can take some time to think about how are u going to process your information to thr reader. It can be a interesting separation, a boring separation, or a serious separation (i mean by the tone of the essay.)
